I know it's far down on the list of offenses, but the fact that he announces the most consequential and deadly serious of government actions - a new WAR - while wearing one of his stupid fucking branded baseball caps is just so vulgar and repulsive.
Which is more likely:
1. The MAGA base decides Trump lied and betrayed them
2. The base alters their views to align with Trump
Pretty sure it's going to be #2, at least for 90% of them. They never really cared about the belief; it was what Trump said so it was gospel. The gospel has been updated.
Once again we are reminded that despite all the complex systems and checks and balances built into our government, the most consequential developments come down to the impulses of one guy. And in this case that one guy is an elderly brain-addled sociopath.
