It may be ungovernable by the LP because anyone able to step into Starmer's shoes is either compromised by association with him or was told to leave. I worry about what comes next but have given up on it being a centre left Labour party because that party bearly exists thanks to Starmer.
Its not a personal hatred. At some level he is probably not actually a bad person. But the hatred is real and viceral. The psychological explanation may be because he fooled us and we actually hate ourselves for having been tricked. Whatever the reason he is a liability.
