True, even in NZ, we live largely in patriarchal societies.
But NZ presently has 43.9 % female members in Parliament down from a high of 50.8% It pivots around left and right wing governments.
I think most leaders of industry would be male and that counts.
Most men here are used to women in power.

But despite being something of a runt she must have strong survival instincts. She really has done well.

Over 18 years ago a frightened little stray was found on a traffic Island in an industrial eastate. Today she's about 90 in cat years. Despite still exhibiting signs of being a rescue cat, Ziggy really is living her best life mostly sunbathing in the garden.
