Imagine if the board had panicked and sacked Eddie Howe after the Brentford game and we’d lost v Spurs in the league, lost v Villa in the FA Cup and lost v Qarabag in the Champions League. The keyboard warriors need to be careful what they wish for #NUFC

Fair challenge. When I started going to matches in the late 70’s (my benchmark) we were floundering in the 2nd division, no Europe, no domestic cup runs, no squads full of internationals, no coach linked with the England job, small crowds, low revenue etc. Then there were the Ashley years…
