Just finished attending the Assoc of Writers and Publishers (AWP) conference in Los Angeles. What a great conference. I'll share my thoughts soon- it'll take a week to finish my vacation and then review and compile all my notes (sooo many notes).

It is really hard to concentrate on writing when preparing to embark on a warm tropical vacation.

Maybe I should write a story about sand, beaches, and beer.

Or ... Maybe I should drink some beer to prep. Vacation rules clearly state that the 'after 5:00 PM' thing doesn't apply.

Exactly two rules define retirement:

1. I no longer 'need' to work for money (although I can do things that make money if I want)
2. I can start and stop doing anything at any time (unless my wife says otherwise) 🤣

Think about it. It's true.
