Local News: The RNN Group will be celebrating National Careers Week and Love your Colleges week during 2nd – 6th March 2026 with a week-long celebration of all things careers and skills focused alongside showcasing College opportunities for students to make the most of their College career too.

Discolouration can occur when natural sediment within the network is disturbed – for example, when a network recharges. It is not harmful, and customers can run their taps to clear it. Yorkshire Water will also flush the area this morning, to help clear the network as quickly as possible.

Whilst the network is refilling and getting back to normal, some customers may notice discolouration with their water supply.

Yorkshire Water teams have been working overnight with teams from the National Power Grid and they are starting to see power return to Aughton water pumping station.

🚨 WATER SUPPLY ISSUE – SOUTH ROTHERHAM 🚨

We’re aware that large parts of South Rotherham are currently without water due to an electrical fault at the Aughton Pumping Station.

Yorkshire Water say engineers are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
