It’s not teabagging in itself, it’s more the idea of being respectful to a fault, fatalities are now considered disrespectful despite being a literal feature in the game

They’re not allowed at all during most tournaments (although that’s more because the sponsors don’t like violence)

It’s definitely a new thing, even in a competitive setting the scene used to be super disrespectful, it was part of the spirit

When it got big and corporate money started rolling in they started sanitizing the shit out of the FGC, which now includes rules like “no teabaghing”

I know it’s considered poor form in competitive settings unless you just won the set but I don’t think there’s any expectation for that to be respected online

It’s ridiculously easy to get going, I recommend you look at the video tutorials because they’ll literally show you everything you need to do to get started

You can get a basic 2D scene where you walk around and interact with things in like 10 minutes without any prior experience

If you ever want to make an adventure game and you have no problems with choosing Unity I cannot recommend Adventure Creator enough
The dev is an absolute beast, if you ever have a problem with it you can post in the forums and you’ll have a fix within like 48 hours, it’s insane
