Found the culprit

Today I'm replacing the 72 pin connector on my NES with this kit that lets you just slot the games in and has an eject button. The pin connector on my NES has died, so I'm looking forward to this project. Should be fun.

Haha damn, way more hardcore than me. I know on mine a common criticism is that there's no end stops so the tool head has no way of knowing where it is., planning on building a jig to be able to hold everything in place so everything at least can be in a consistent spot
