The utilities want to stop you from using Plug-In solar with fees and red tape. You can help by asking your state rep to pass SB 868. SB 868 would let you use these panels without needing permission from the utility, so long as the panels meet electrical safety standards.

After little kids wandered off campus, this Berkeley Hills school may put up a fence As many as four children, ages 4 and 5, left the Cragmont campus unattended in two separate incidents last year, parents and BUSD say.

Some 4-5 year old kids wandered off the Cragmont School campus alone, including walking onto Marin Avenue. A reminder that the City has done NOTHING in response to multiple fatal crashes on Marin. NOTHING AT ALL.

The @sfchronicle.com has mapped out every pedestrian and cyclist fatality in the state over the last five years. It's damning evidence against the complete failure of transportation experts and planners to make the streets safe.
