Another note - I was replaying the early levels to farm out the 'kill X enemies with Y weapon' missions, and it's funny how different the game plays with unlocks vs without. The first two levels are cramped and linear, and you only have a few basic guns. And no double jump.

Even on good pain days, after hunching at my desk for a few hours my gut feels like it's twisting in knots. I feel like it's definitely my chair, but I don't have the budget for a new one. I'll just have to stick to my usual routine of lying down periodically.

It would be nice if Raora would try this game sometime, even if just for a mission or two. It's truly a head empty kill stuff kinda game, but the gear management might be a bit much for her.

although the last few levels felt like they were handing out powerups and BFG ammo like candy, I kept pushing through without using them too much, and died a lot as a result
