Coretta Scott King initiated the tradition of symbolically ringing the Liberty Bell at noon on MLK Day. It began in 1986, the first year of the national holiday. I was so honored to be a part of the tradition this year.
Busy morning ahead of the holiday weekend. First, the Bells Across PA America250 kickoff, then Blue and White Day hosted by Phi Beta Sigma & Zeta Phi Beta. Finally, my staff provided voting information at @repmcclinton.com's monthly food distribution.

It was a pleasure to take part in the America250PA Keystone Classroom Initiative this morning at Loesche School.
I am happy to be back at John F. Hartranft School to speak to the students about the importance of voting! I love visiting these kids every year and helping to facilitate their student elections. The school is a neighborhood gem.
