I think that chap is the epitome of "confidently incorrect". A strange hill to choose for a last stand when he could have just used Google.

Oh yes. The other place was becoming a bit... unpleasant.
Hi Geoff! Unfortunately I can't actually send a DM without having to verify my age, apparently! However, please do drop me an email at Pwphotomedia@gmail.com and we can work something out - I'm free from Thursday next week and am certainly up for a train journey!
Nice to see them going on to other things rather than meeting the cutter's torch
Merry Christmas!
Huge fun on my birthday this year; last year was visiting my favourite railway museum, this year it was building this. I got the original for my 9th birthday a long, long time ago so this was lovely and nostalgic. Cheers to Kate and my mum for this beauty!
Would you mind if I used this in my video? It would be so lovely to show some of the people who lived down this street!
You'll find this pretty interesting, the footings and floor tiles of several of the terraced houses were uncovered! The houses are so incredibly tiny, the back rooms aren't even big enough to stand with your arms out wide.
I've been filming at the site and hopefully should have a video up about the dig before Xmas!
Stage one of the archaeological dig of Drypool village green and Harcourt Street, buried for around 70 years! Stage 2 went deeper to find Tudor and medieval remains, and they did indeed find the footings of Henry VIII's Castle's curtain wall under the street itself!
The entire anarcho-syndicalist scene just gets me every single time.
I'm like that with Facebook. I get random angry comments on random news posts all over my feed, but haven't actually seen posts by my partner or friends in months unless I literally go to their pages.
This could be of interest; talk on the findings of archaeology work done in Holderness during the construction of the Dogger Bank wind farm!
Hallo everyone! This is the first new social media thing I've made in years, be gentle!
