I think the worst part of this is... I wanna do many things. I hate idling.

I wanna learn many things (actually learn, not passively watch video essays)

I wanna get into many hobbies.

I wanna voice train and learn makeup and skincare.

But the mix of lethargy and executive dysfunction ails me.

And I dont mean like, species rarer than others

I mean they get a colored rarity which gives it innate modifiers for stats.

Creature collectors arent the place for looter-shooter-like mechanics.

So yeah. Just the first egg hatching completely dampened all my hype for an otherwise interesting game

I was excited with the game but that animation literally killed all my excitation. I have a lot of trauma around gacha and I always found their existence and aesthetic to be a massive drain on all the industries it affects.

Even worse is creatures have MMO-like colored rarities...

You see up to five eggs in the hatchery, and you hold the button to start the animation, which makes it spin then launched colored beam of light, showing the 5 creatures you got. It is the same as a gacha or like, apex legends and overwatch.

The animation caused an intense visceral reaction to me.

I'm even more disgusted by lootboxes and gacha than I thought.

I tried a game named Voidling Unbound. Very fun game, a neat change on the creature collection genre by making it a TPS.

However, you get creatures by finding eggs and putting them in the hatchery...

... And it is a lootbox anim.

I've seen a lot of people draw art of Kasane Teto fat, but she'd often be depicted as unhappy or a slob.

I didn't like that, so I wanted to draw her fat and happy. I tried to model her like an opera singer. Let me know what you think!
