BLOCK HIM.
Pass it on.
For No Kings I am wearing a mask. In solidarity and to assert my right to wear one while I still enjoy that right.
Love you. Stay aware and know, love. Love every day as hard as you can. Xxoo

There needs to be federal legislation against any law enforcement agent wearing anything that obscures their identity.
“Medicaid is not just an insurance program. It is the infrastructure that makes independent living possible for people with disabilities … If Congress ultimately cuts federal Medicaid spending, we will witness the unraveling of vital support systems …”
A highlight of my week: a bouquet of yard roses from Sabino. Cut from his love's rose bushes. She passed from lung cancer years back and it was the way that he cared for her through that with such tenderness, that I know we humans have goodness in us. I must hold onto this as I read the news.
BREAKING: The scene at the Rayburn Building is pure rebellion. Protesters are swarming in during live hearings on Medicaid cuts.
Security’s losing control. Because when the government wages war on the poor, the poor fight back.
Because private prison corporations in US getting rich off it.
This upside down world is mentally taxing trying to hold on to reality, but I still know who the dishonorable folks are and its certainly not transgender people living authentically.
Over a yellow background, text reads: LEGAL VICTORY! Judge blocks enforcement of HB 83 statewide. A federal judge granted a preliminary injunction in our lawsuit, IORC v. Labrador, blocking enforcement of HB 83’s entry and reentry crimes until the litigation is resolved. The block applies statewide and covers everyone who would have been at risk of prosecution for these crimes. At the bottom is a blue graphic of a gavel.
LEGAL VICTORY: A federal judge blocked enforcement of HB 83 until the litigation is resolved. We applaud the court for protecting our immigrant community and the Constitution.

Next to a photo of ACLU of Idaho lawyers outside the federal courthouse in Boise, Idaho, over a blue background, text reads: your generosity fuels our fight in the courts.
All of our ongoing legal efforts are possible because of donors. Recently, we sued over an unconstitutional anti-immigrant law and successfully blocked the law from being enforced.

I have many voices but no one's picked this one for a job yet!!!!!!!!!
Sign of the times: I'm borderline panic mode because AP News isn't coming up for my morning read. Normally I'd think it was technical difficulties, but these days, my thoughts turn darker.
Just spoke with my CDC sources. They were in tears.
Budgets cut. RFJK has ordered them not to publicize bird flu symptoms in exposed workers. Not to test them. Not to speak.
They know people are getting sick. And they’re being forced to stay silent.
This is not just a cover-up. It's cruelty.
We can't be more than a few weeks out from the wheels wobbling. Measles, bird flu, etc paired with all these federal firings. Mostly in services and agencies/organizations meant to increase safety. I'm working on building both our Bug In and Bug Out bags. www.reuters.com/world/us/us-...
Found on a nature walk
Feel dirty that I ever read those books to my kid
I will never understand how a group of bigoted women go all out to destroy the rights of a tiny, marginalised group of predominantly harmless women instead of using their centuries of built up rage to actively destroy the patriarchy and the actual men who do us real harm.
I've been wearing a mask to protests, didn't realize I should be wearing bullet proof vest too.
Of course they're nervous. Pocatello PD has already proved they are ready to shoot someone in seconds.
Nature walk yesterday to refill my reserves. Still getting over the respiratory crud. Multiple bouts of COVID seem to have created a weakness. Heres a sound bath of frogs and red wing blackbirds.
The people who were disappeared to the El Salvador prison, the ones sent without any due process and charges, did they get a sentence? I mean, will they ever be released? Can they count down the days for the nightmare end? Or is this forever disappeared, never to get out? WTF, my country did this!
Idaho advocates gather outside the Federal Court building in Idaho with signs of support for immigrants. Text reads: BREAKING: judge extends block on anti-immigrant law in Idaho.
A federal judge extended the block on HB 83 and granted provisional class-action status, preventing enforcement statewide. Local law enforcement cannot arrest or detain anyone based on their immigration status. This is a huge win for immigrant communities and the Constitution. tinyurl.com/27f4wx2d
I agree. My friends in blue states are going about their days as though this insanity in red states can't cross those imaginary state borders.
The background is a dark image of Idaho Governor Little. The text overlay reads: Breaking: Governor Little Signs Anti-Immigrant HB 83. To the state of Idaho: We'll see you in court.
On a black background, white text reads: ACLU of Idaho and the ACLU filed a lawsuit today against the state of Idaho to stop enforcement of House Bill 83, which was signed into law earlier in the day. The plaintiffs in the lawsuit, IORC v. Labrador, are the Idaho Organization of Resource Councils, The Alliance of Idaho, and five anonymous noncitizens. The lawsuit asks the court to stop enforcement of the law, requesting an emergency temporary restraining order preventing enforcement against anyone. The lawsuit argues that H.B. 83 violates the U.S. Constitution by attempting to supersede the federal government’s oversight of immigration enforcement, by limiting interstate commerce, and by failing to give ordinary people fair notice of what conduct it outlaws
We'll see the state of Idaho in court.
The ACLU of Idaho sued the state of Idaho today over HB 83, which Gov. Little signed into law this morning. A federal judge already blocked the law from taking effect. idahocapitalsun.com/2025/03/27/a...
Wonderful you all had the time. Thank you for putting in that work on Medicaid expansion. Seems like you're chsstizing the wrong people. Why not sling mud at the cruel legislators, the system that doesnt require any kind of advance notice and a weak Governor. Lots of people fighting hard on this.
