Seriously. Spider-Verse is so nuanced and character driven. Things like GOAT are just pure (I feel like plot is too strong of a word for what the story in that movie was...) movement.
They flash some pretty colors and bizarre imagery and act like that's a good movie.
I wasn't a fan. Plus: so much artificial swagger. They show the villains acting like jerks and we're supposed to hate it, then the protagonists do the exact same thing, but we're supposed to be happy about it.
Plus so many non-joke, jokes.
I have never felt so old watching a movie before. XD
