regular reminder I have this retro lighting shader tech and have not used it for anything... 🤔
Maybe I should license it out? Supports dither based occlusion too so objects can be faded into "transparency" when the player is behind it. Also supports emissive maps.

with the help of my partner a few years back we were able to achieve a pretty convincing stop motion paper craft effect in blender! here's the fruits of our labor.. i'll share how this was all done later!!
