YES it truly pisses me off how little it's brought up in the one environment you'd expect them to professionally advise you. My hygienist even warned against my xylimelts cus she thought I was using them as a way to avoid good flossing habits. No girl you liked my dental habits before my dry mouth!

Get yourself some kinda mouth spray or Xylimelts. My dentist thought I was being bad with my gums even though I told them I was on a new diuretic medication and my flossing habits never changed. 6 months later gums are back to normal after tackling dry mouth thanks to some night time xylitol sweets.

PSA: if you have an issue with dry mouth (esp at night) due to illness or new medication you need to get that SORTED to prevent dental issues. No dentist of mine ever told me that 😔

Every time I talk about taboo in fiction it's cus I see someone being a dumbass and wasting their time hounding an artist who has no demonstrable record being an unkind person, instead of going after people who actually are pieces of shit.

It's a fucking literary device. On the surface level it's a shorthand to break boundaries/taboos, but if you want to squeeze more out of it there's insularity and isolation, danger, trauma, bonds. If it feels visceral, that's kinda the point. Fictional playground for emotions is FINE.

It'll never fail to make me guffaw how there are ppl who think incest in fiction is the gateway drug to real incest. Don't fucking kid me how influenceable are YOU?

I truly have some very patient commissioners. My fear of making disappointing work means they can take too long really.
