It’s just now 8 a.m. and I’ve heard Shadows of the Night twice already today. Is the universe trying to tell me something?

My husband recently found my size 7 interchangeables in the front yard, so who knows, really.
Thank you! Yes, I love knitting baby blankets! I’m finishing up a sweater now, and I’m determined to get done with it before I start the blanket, but I’m itching to move on to the blanket.
A Chevron Baby Blanket in white, baby blue, beige, and dark mauve (not really sure what to call that one, but I guess dark mauve works). Every other section is a small section of white between the larger sections of the individual colors (little white, big blue, little white, big beige, and so on).
My favorite garter stitch project was this chevron baby blanket I made for my new little cousin a couple of years ago. It was such an easy knit, and the blanket was so squishy. I’m about to make a new one for a friend’s baby.

Ooh, I’ve just been getting into colorwork, and I’m going to have to make some of these! Beautiful work!! 💜
A hand knit fingerless glove on a hand. The glove is soft pink, and there is a silver ring on the hand.
In 2020, mom sent me a Valentine’s Day package from her LYS, which included this soft pink yarn and a pattern for fingerless gloves. They are the only thing I have ever knit that goes on the hands. I wear these while knitting because my hands get cold.

Same! I will sometimes have a second project to take with me if I’m working on something large or complicated that I don’t want to travel with, but two is all I will do because I know things would go unfinished forever if I took on more than that.
Thank you!! 😊

Thank you! I have done two colorwork hats (one many years ago and one last year), but this is my first colorwork sweater.

A partially finished sweater with a stranded colorwork pattern, knitted to just below the underarms. The background is a deep purple with light gray, navy blue, dark gray, and bright pink for the decorative rows. Two balls of yarn (one deep purple and the other bright pink). The yarn is Miss Babs Laurel Falls.
What’s on my needles? This Jupiter Crop (but I’m going to make it longer) by Caitlin Hunter. This would have worked for last week’s #showmeyourknits too because it is my first colorwork sweater. It’s been a really fun project so far!
White square shelves full of yarn
Amazing how it can add up, isn’t it?! I just organized mine. This doesn’t include the three bags I’m planning on donating.
She’s a good dog, and thorough.
Four and a half, not for and a half 😝
A man is showing off his hand knit pink cardigan. A small dog is on a dog bed behind him.
This week’s #showmeyourknits is cardigans. I have knit for and a half of these Campus Cardigans (Alexandra Tavel) this year. This one was for my husband, and the second he put it on, it started pilling like nobody’s business.
