I post next to nothing for a week due to being busy and then proceed to return with vague lore posts and niche characters in bikinis what am I even doing at this point??? Oh, right, the contents of the picture - A slightly more humanoid version of the blackcurrant girl from that one cursed Hooper's Hooch advert, stood in shallow water on a beach. She's wearing a polka-dot bikini, posing in a way to draw more attention to herself. --- Random time for a random character to return but once again I looked through old art and was slightly irked about how I drew her before because her waist never looked right. I get it's literally just meant to be a vine but it looks like she'd snap in half in a slight breeze so figured I'd go back and try to make something more... proportional? The torso is generally just more humanoid now, though with more detailed shapes around the tummy to give the appearance of it being made of multiple thick vines bunched together to form it. Probably better ways of doing it that look nicer but I suppose it's a start (and also probably not a priority considering the character in-question) Oh well, maybe I'm just pedantic about character design...

Well the Mia Week is over so back to the stuff I was *supposed* to get posted before then ;p

Looks like Ballora got an upgrade or two since we last checked-in. I'm sure that new waterproofing will come in handy ;p

The Mianemone from a few pics ago, looking a little... different... A bird's-eye-view looking down into the water. A pink sea anemone can be seen, taking on a strangely human appearance - very similar to Mia herself. Various clownfish swim around her as she looks back up from beneath the water.

Mia Week has officially come to an end for this year, however there is... one more thing

We went back to check on the Mianemone from a few pics ago and something... seems to have changed...?

It seems to be a nice sunny day so she couldn't pass up the invitation to meet up with friends From left to right: -Nami, the Gardevoir in the striped bikini. Currently holding Mia's hands and walking her backwards into deeper water enthusiastically. -Pearl, another Gardevoir wearing a green shoulderless swimsuit. Stood beside Mia with her hands behind her back, perhaps a little embarrassed by Nami's sheer excitement. -Mia, now wearing yet another new ice cream-themed swimsuit. Currently looking a little awkward about Nami's assertiveness about immediately heading into the water. -Iris, the Gothitelle at Mia's other side, simply walking along with them with her arm on Mia's shoulder. Probably expected Nami would do this so she's fairly chill about it.

Well I suppose it's not a Mia Week without at least one random beach pic?

She got an invite from a few friends (who all happen to be Pokemon) - Nami, Iris and Pearl

She has been there for like 30 seconds and Nami is already dragging her into the sea, huh?

Vibing with the idea of more Aquamarine doodling 👀

ALSO thinking "What if she had a mean and clingy Vaporeon girlfriend who lives in a lake" and they met because Aquamarine kept diving for sunken trinkets only to get caught by her multiple times and the Vappy REALLY likes how Aqua blubs 👀💦

One of the homies wanted to doodle my Gardevoir Aquamarine in some more underwater scenarios, and decided she'll be navigating some DEEP flooded caverns for a good while 👀
She's been there for a while making use of various small air pockets, but she's getting QUITE hungry from all this swimming too

Having an air-based cooling system isn't necessarily a bad idea, but Ballora's choice to effectively need to breathe was still a surprise

'To seem more human' was her reason

Of course, you always have to test complex new systems like this... very thoroughly ;p

I think, if the robots are trying to seduce you, it's time to (try to) leave, y'know? --- Why is it just Ballora there, on her lonesome? Well you should always back up important data (your advanced A.I. systems) in case something goes wrong (FNaF 6). (Also no I cannot explain away the elephant in the room, nor do I care to explain how a ro-butt would even work like that.) (Again, sorry you had to see this)

An alt with lower lighting, with Ballora's eyes more noticeably glowing --- Ah yes, I had this whole dumb AU thing of Ballora backing herself up to Afton's workshop computers after Sister Location due to her lack of faith in the Ennard plan, then spending years making herself slowly more and more human and aware of the world... What's the first art I get to draw based on this admittedly random idea? Her butt taking up like 1/4 of the entire picture. Excellent start.

Two of Happy Wars' Wind Elementals on a stormy beach, treating it like it's much nicer weather. Both are wearing green and white striped bikinis - matching the colour of their skin and hair. The one on the left also seems to be holding the viewer and bringing them to the beach as well while smiling, whereas the one on the right is either stretching or adjusting her hair bun. '<' honestly not sure how this ended up being my first Happy Wars art in months besides being asked to make it... (I should probably draw something else with them at some point soon because I feel bad letting this be the only HW post on here in a while)

Gotta draw one myself at some point - but it's still real surprising that a feminine Pokemon from an island region people draw the other characters from got missed

A secret spot beside the beach and a special invite from Peach - and while Tomato is inside she forgets the rising tide ;p

Silly rhyme scheme aside, one of the final pic sets from last year - either those are some wild tides or they've been at it for a WHILE ;p

Blurp Girl (left) and RandomRiot's Rip Van Fish girl, Zee (right), sat around a Lava Lotus. Its body and the water above it are full of reddish fireballs, which the two are using for light and to keep warm in the depths. A rare species currently only seen in the mushroom kingdom. Lava Lotuses are a relative of the Piranha Plant with a transparent body that live exclusively in and around the water. Their defence mechanism is surprisingly effective despite fire and water rarely mixing well. A very pretty sight and very useful in colder and darker environments where the fireballs make for a source of light and warmth. Not very practical, but seeing one is always a treat in her eyes. Blurp Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Verona, the Pheromosa, practicing to maintain her flexibility with a little help from Tomato. Verona is stood, holding Tomato's hands for balance, having brought her leg up into the air and then brought it over to rest it on his shoulder; an angle of over 270 degrees - impressive stuff! She seems so calm doing this despite how tough it must be - she makes it seem so effortless...

Brought her leg up and then over... onto her partner's shoulder no less! 270 degrees, wow

(I'd say it's a flex both figuratively and literally to do that)
