There is not a single congressional district in the U.S. where more than 15% of voters support cuts to Medicaid.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

My personal conspiracy theory is that all the climate models we’re currently exponentially exceeding are actually fake, they’re just designed to give us some hope. In reality we have less than 20 years before the earth becomes completely uninhabitable for humans.

This isn’t normal.

Now seems like an appropriate time to revisit Gil Scott Heron’s “Whitey on the Moon”
