After some testing I realized that the Flooder crashes happened whenever an area object or whatever sent a SwitchSender signal to the Flooder, which would cause it and activate and crash due to invalid pathing
To fix this I end up doing a second loop pass over all the objects in the level file and remove any references to any object that is a Flooder in the SwitchSender link list

From yesterday but I ended up figuring out why the ink pool still wouldn't despawn, sometimes depending on where you're looking, the final checkpoint state may not always get updated quickly enough, resulting in the pool not despawning. I just removed the final checkpoint condition cause its not...

So I was currently fixing my UFO level case to ensure that there are no other Octostrikers in the level instead of just the one that's present normally, but for whatever reason in the Urchin UFO stage, there's 2 Octostrikers for some reason?? Maybe that's why this stage has been so buggy for others?

Managed to (hopefully) fix the issue a few hours ago, hereβs a bit of an explanation, hopefully soon I can get out this patch
Still hasn't been out cause the Octostrikers are acting a bit funky on the ufo still, I fixed the issue where sometimes more than 1 octostriker would appear, but sometimes the ink pool won't despawn and I am still trying to debug it

If you encounter a softlock in Far Flung Flooders where the final key wonβt spawn, you arenβt alone. Normally this part in the enemy rando function is meant to handle this special case, but the bug here is that I forgot to return early, allowing this case to be randomized into something else.

Hi everyone - quick development update on the Super Paper Mario Lunatic Pit mod.
The code itself is nearly ready for closed prerelease tests, but odds are that all of the new assets created for this version of the mod are gone. My house burnt down and I'm not quite sure if my PC survived.
