Social media is often addictive with its clicks and algorithms and Iβve been pulled into that world too often. So I think it is time to pull back for a while. When I have time for photographs Iβd like to take the time to arrange them in little notebooks or on a pin board.
The idea of a photographer creating a carefully sequenced set of photographs for a book or gallery wall is not something easily achieved within a social media stream reliant on algorithms or a list of the followed.
Photographs on streaming media are somewhat akin to the individual frames of video. They roll by in sequence and sometimes resequenced as they are reposted in my stream in a different orders.
