the long sentences? playing with rhythm? the opening line that feels disconnected from the rest of the plot? that's all intentional. you're literally reading a sample of the work, not everything is going to unfold in the first three chapters. trust the storyteller.

I'm a little confused about readers trying to give editing advice on Libraro. everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but please don't tell authors what they "should" do to appeal to you without them specifically requesting. it's just weird.

haven’t had much time to write or focus on research for my next book but I’m in the process of moving in with two of my best friends – who are also writers – so my excitement is through the roof 📈

what a lovely message to wake up to, thank you so much for reading and sharing ❤️ it is very much a literary piece where you swim around the narrator’s stream of consciousness, the plot is more like the river bank that guides it along as opposed to the main focus.

I almost withdrew my #Libraro entry because it felt too vulnerable, but reading all the amazing comments people have been leaving on my chapters has been a surreal experience 🧡

That's one way of looking at I hadn't considered, wow! I think it might be a mix of that and me swinging very violently between 'I want to share this special thing I made' and 'I don't want to be perceived'. Social media, contests, etc... not my forte 😭
