Sometimes I think about how Lalo Salamanca shouldn’t work

“That guy Saul mentions in a throwaway joke line is an evil mastermind who even Gus Fring is scared of and he’s the origin of Hector’s bell”. Like it sounds like some Star Wars expanded universe bullshit but he’s the best part of both shows

S4 is a bit meandering until Lalo shows up, but I also think it’s a necessary bridge between the ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Saul’ parts of the show if that makes sense

I think Breaking Bad got away with being faster-paced because Walt isn’t an especially nuanced character

Yea I do think Better Call Saul is a much better written show

I’ve noticed that people don’t criticise Better Call Saul as much as Breaking Bad for ‘glorifying’ its villain protagonist, even though Jimmy is way more successful than Walt

Maybe it’s because Walt looks cool when he does his power tripping speeches and Jimmy looks like this

In the actual show, he Mr Magoos his way into a well-organised drug trade, pisses everyone off and causes the whole thing to collapse. Even the other criminals find him exhausting

Ppl act like the entire show is just those 2 cool speeches he does that get sold on t-shirts

Err, I learned how to name stuff from Ace Attorney. One of my games’ protags is called Evelyn Falls. It’s a pun on what she does (Eve Drop - Eavesdrop)

Then I just grew to like the name Evelyn, so it made sense to choose it as my name too ☺️

I love the scene immediately after his death, when Megatron is just standing there letting Starscream’s brutal final words wash over him

Armada Starscream is the opposite of a regular Starscream. He works so hard to win his shitty boss’s respect, then has to detach his own self-worth from Megatron’s abusive treatment

When he challenges Megatron’s leadership, he’s 100% correct

Yeah fr. In platformers I always think of bosses as an explanation point at the end of the world. When they take just as long as the levels but there’s no variety (and often no checkpoints) it just feels like I’m stuck in the same place for ages

I feel this worse offline. When I’m at work and I read some awful news, but the people around me need an entire explanation on how ‘being trans’ works because to them it sounds like a minor inconvenience

It makes me sad how even our allies don’t understand our situation. When trans people are denied things we need for survival, telling us we’re “still valid without them” is not comforting

You wouldn’t say that to any other group of people being denied healthcare or having their ID voided overnight

Post old memes to confuse young people

When I was a kid, me and my siblings used to love going to places in Sonic Adventure that we weren’t supposed to. Like, deciding we wanted to do Icecap without the snowboard and clashing against invisible walls till the game went “ok fine idgaf”

It was a question of how, not if 😗

It prevents replies from ppl who aren’t here to cause problems, but also don’t help the situation

If someone replies in bad faith, I don’t want allies trying to debate or mock them, or ppl who aren’t trans playing devils advocate cause they don’t know the dogwhistles

Every time this debate happens, I think about the day I decided to stop posting there

I posted an opinion on an anime, it got fairly big, a couple of ppl attacked me for being trans, others kept replying to them after I blocked them, that ended up being 90% of the comments. Never had that here
