Marvel Legends GamerVerse Psylocke Vs. Thanos is available now. Here’s a look at the head sculpt and the iconic Ron Lim drawing it was generally based on. Color added for fun.
“Icons” Silver Surfer sculpted ages ago for Marvel Legends. Also shrunk down and released as a regular ML figure. I think this size was just too big for the wax that Hasbro used to demand. It would only be a couple years before I made the digital transition.
Great stuff. I love that angry Mark Twain. I have a number of pages like these. Buscema has always been a massive inspiration.
Some never-before-seen John Buscema head sketches on the back of an original art page I just acquired. (The 1984 stamp is the date the artist finally got the art back, not the actual date of the page.)
Smash Attack Doombot sculpted traditionally for my old friends at Toybiz some 20 years ago.
Back in the day I had the pleasure of sculpting all these bendy parts for this Mr Fantastic figure that was sculpted by Dave Cortes. Collectors had it pretty good.
