A serious benefit to knowing so many trans women is that if I ever have tech problems I know where to ask for help

Rents are high because we don't build enough housing.

And that's because we make it almost impossible to build houses:

Builders now need to wait almost a year (314 days) to just get planning permission now.

This is a national crisis - and if we don't solve it, rents will keep on rocketing.

The Gorton and Denton by-election shows people are bitterly disappointed with Labour but horrified by the rise of Reform.

In many parts of the country, it's the Liberal Democrats who can stop Reform.

That was basically another example of how GCs will harm women if it means they also get to harm trans and NB folk!

We love an attack piece, especially when it's so pathetic.

I had one a few years ago on a motion I took to LD Conf on period poverty where literally ONE line said "some trans men and NB people also menstruate and they matter too."

Apparently that was worth voting down and entire motion for.

The UK Government is now being explicitly called out by the UN for it's appalling treatment of trans people.

The government needs to get it's act together and stop it's abhorrent attacks on trans people's lives.

Join the brilliant Cllr Rachel Bentley and @5050parliament.bsky.social as they share thoughts and tips on the joys and challenges of public office.

It’s open to women who are not yet politically aligned, Lib Dem aligned and those who are considering the Lib Dems.

I find it interesting that those who promoted Dr Cass' recommendations so hard when they thought they could use it to harm trans kids have suddenly decided she's wrong and has no idea what she's doing now she's opposing some of their more extreme ideas...

I will genuinely never get this whole "we need to abandon our values to win votes." What's the point in that?

I didn't get into politics for power, I got into politics to fight for what I believe in.

Why would I instead fight for what I don't believe in? Why would anyone do that!!

1) Ban medication being prescribed because you say there is insufficient evidence to support it, even though it's prescribed internationally
2) Say you're going to set up a trial to get evidence that it's safe and effective
3) Pause that trial getting evidence because of "unquantified risk"

Humiliated in the media, denied healthcare, attacked by the human rights watchdog, shut out by the Supreme Court, bullied by social services and the police, disadvantaged in the jobs market, death figures covered up by the State, harassment de facto legalised, and attackers deified by Ministers.

This is abhorrent. The point of this trial was because those who oppose transition wanted a different study on the benefits after they chose to ignore the already immense evidence of its benefits.

An arbitrary threshold of 14 makes the study far less likely to give any useful results.

Brexit has made Britain much poorer.

So it's absolutely infuriating that Labour's response is so small.

We're going to rejoin one day. We might as well admit that and start thinking about what that path looks like - and how we can go as fast as possible to recovering from this injury.

Government abandons plans to delay 30 council elections Government abandons plans to delay 30 council elections

This is really welcome news.

It was appalling that the Government ever let this happen. Their chaotic approach to local govt reorganisation never justified these delays.

STARMER’S LABOUR: THE MOST ANTI-LGBT+ GOVT SINCE THATCHER

A list of the government's shameful LGBT+ record – especially when it comes to attacking trans people.

Updated for the second time in two months because there have been six or seven things to add since January alone.

Good job he hasn’t met my kids (male and female)

They would tell him exactly where to stick his opinions of their life choices!!

And not forgetting the reality of high debt, housing crisis, work-life balance etc

Supreme Court banning oat milk being called milk is just so ridiculous. Everyone knows it's not cows milk, who is this helping??

State overreach is such a problem. WHY does it matter so much that we call it oat milk??
