I try very hard to be polite when I engage with people with whom I disagree. And I generally don’t start things on other peoples Facebook pages. But my mom shared a fact check on her Facebook page today and some woman jumped in her comments with 🍊lies. I tried to offer facts. It didn’t work. (1/2)
I just went and got it. Even if you do have antibodies, it’s not harmful to get a booster. It was faster and easier to just get the shot.
That is interesting because I just got my booster today at a CVS. They didn’t charge me. I told the pharmacist I’ve been vaccinated and am in the “maybe” category but because I work at a college I wanted to get a booster.

Tuberculosis outbreaks are popping up and the CDC is being ordered not to communicate to WHO or the public. They are scrubbing websites of information about TB, HIV and adolescent health.

I’ve had a different experience there. It feels more social to me. But it did take me some time to train the algorithm to see more of what I want and less of what I don’t.
I saw this same post and felt something was off. One tactic used to quell outrage is to throw so much outrageous false information at the public that they become numb to the truth when it matters. We all need to be careful not to participate.
