A Constant Longing is out now! It kind of feels like stuff from Things Unseen (which is almost 10 years old!!!!) but a bit more "modern" I guess. I'm really happy with this one, and there will be a lot more coming in 2026!

I'm a terribly relentless perfectionist, much to my own detriment. It's one of the major reasons my releases are often so far apart. I often find myself completely unable to work on something at all, because I don't know what it *needs* to be "right". 🥺

Threads relies HEAVILY on baiting likes if you don't have thousands of followers, and even if you do, really. The most successful post I see are, far and away, the ones most aimed at niche groups. Especially for producers and musicians, the meta (ha) seems to be spamming "empowerment"-style posts.

Pressing play on the arrangement in my daw and letting it loop for 3 hours while I dissociate
Three drawings of snowmen sit side-by-side. They were made while blindfolded. They are arranged from right to left as earliest to latest. The left one is the worst, with three poorly-drawn, unconnected circles, a face (coal eyes, a carrot nose, and a dotted smile) that exists both inside and out of its circle, and a top hat that intersects the circle. The middle one is better. Its circles are less irregular, and they all connect. The face is mostly contained within its circle, but a pipe was drawn over the carrot nose. This snowman also has stick arms that both extend upward and little dot buttons. The right one is a bit more detailed, with pretty good circles, an okay face (now with separate pipe and nose), and an attempt at shading the hat. This one also has arms, with the left angled down and the right angled up. There is also a small, simple Christmas tree beside the snowman. All of the drawings are signed.
