In Huichol, the term nierika refers to a portway between so-called ordinary and non-ordinary realities - also said to mean mirror as well as face of the deity. This nierika shows the four cardinal directions and the sacred center. The coordinating axis is placed in a field of fire. 🔥🔥💜

seated figures representing Draco, the dragon (first), and the planet Jupiter (second). Draco derives its power from 'eating' the sun and causing an eclipse. One of Jupiter's attributes is an inscribed banner, of which the first word appears to be 'power'.
