Thank you Bee!
Thank you Bee!
While it's heartening to know that the American oligarchs sitting behind the new President on Inauguration Day will still be just fine, a lot of Americans -- myself included -- lost a lot of money today. Here's why.
Food for thought: The Democrats have not won the popular white vote in the Presidency since 1964. The Democrats passed the Voting Rights Act giving actual democracy to all Americans (not just white ones) in 1965. That is one way this inauguration and MLK Day are related.
My sincere thanks to Victoria Polsely at the publication Earmilk for taking the time, soul and mind to immerse herself in our experimental sustainability musical short film and write an article about it on Day 1. What is your footprint?
Today's the release date of my piece Footprint, inspired by legendary composer John Chowning, film by Sidney Cullinan. It's a contemplative piece open to interpretation, and we'd love to hear yours. How does it resonate with your reality? See the YouTube link for more details. We hope it moves you.
I know... crazy idealism. I'm a nut. I had to post my Bluesky link in the comments of my post on Facebook 'cause Facebook diminishes posts with external links in its feed. (See greedy billionaires citation above.)
Hello Bluesky! I joined 10 minutes ago. No idea how it works. But I wholeheartedly endorse moving social media in an ethical direction where truth is a thing & the platform's leaders are not primarily trying to make their 100 billion dollars turn into 500 billion dollars everyone else doesn't have.
