Celebrating my grinding accomplishment by taking the weekend off to build a Lego set. It's nice to relax and do something for fun for once.

I shall say it's meant to storm for the next few days, so I'll just rerun some pictures and perhaps do a couple clothing modifications I've been wanting to do.

I'm more saddened by the lack of imagination and curiosity in fantasy authors...whose entire job is supposed to be fantasizing.

So, yeah, I have major beef with LOTR....with things that isn't even its fault. But the fault of creators being unimaginative and boring.

No, elves are not poetic twink archers and dwarves are not miniature bearded miners.

They are actually far more interesting than that.

Lord of the Rings simply never caught my interest.

I have grown even bitter seeing the harm it has done to Fantasy as a whole and turning the weird and diverse races in (namely Norse) mythology and flattening them into what can now be described as bland archetypes.
