Not only did people buy VHS tapes they* also bought cases for them to make them look like books.

Same! Delighted to learn about it now tho
The trailer made it look more of a comedy but I found it quite stressful. Really enjoyed it tho.
Iβd totally forgotten about using a ruler to make a margin in books at school. (Just heard Bill Nighy mention it.)
Oh I loved it so much I slid into his DMs π
No one ever talks about The Dooleys
It made me think of In the Night Garden π I thought it was a bit messy. But I havenβt been impressed with most tonight, mustnβt be in the right mood.
Oh fuck. Iβm sorry. Sending love.
Wandering round the house singing Pussy Palace Pussy Palace Pussy Palace
Oh no, the author Catherine Newman is an absolute gem.
Years ago, I had an actual meet cute in the street (Shaftesbury Avenue in fact). I gave him my number and by the time I got home that evening heβd left a bunch of increasingly unhinged messages, with the last being he didnβt want to go out with me anyway and I didnβt know what I was missing π₯΄
Maggie from the Little People - a small plastic figure with glasses and curly hair, holding a bucket of popcorn
Seems unfair that Karen and Harry look like that and I look like this #strictly
I just saw two toddlers cheersing ring donuts π© and it made me very happy.
BRILLIANT
Years ago I remember someone complaining about βmulti-millionaire George Michaelβ covering Brother, Can You Spare a Dime. Like theyβd prefer him to be singing about how rich and successful he was. It annoys me every time I listen to it.
Oh my GOD
I won my Dualit in a magazine 27 years ago. Never had a problem, still going strong. (Hope that didnβt jinx itβ¦)
I bought Bourneville Old Jamaica cos it was my grandadβs favourite (and I like the packaging redesign). Good lord, who is buying this stuff?? It tastes like tyres.
I enjoyed it too. They had chemistry, which seems to be super rare. (Heβs too old to have had a computer in his room tho.)
I know people complain about lighting in modern films but what is up with the sound? I saw The Sound of Music yesterday without my hearing aids and every word was clear.
Today I saw A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, my hearing aid battery ran out, and Iβd say I missed half the dialogue.
Iβm glad to see someone else has a full stop between almost every word of a google search
Congratulations!
Best one so far π
Thatβs a great photo
Did you ever read the book about them? Literally by Chris Heath. I was never a huge fan but I loved it so much.
When my lovely but dull uncle died, the eulogy said βFred enjoyed car touring and once he went to Jersey.β That was it.
Absolutely zero shame.
Well itβs working.
Imagine being this much of a cringing twatweasel
