Omg this 😭 Can't fault ourselves for being tired because it involved jumping across too many platforms to get to here. I also miss folders which I'm still waiting on Sheezy to offer those-

Part of me feels that it's a canon event for a Sonic artist to go anthro but then they still get lumped with Sonic LOL

But overall it's reassuring to read your experience. 🙏 Even then, it's clear to me which ones are your original universe vs within Sonic based from how you drew their anatomies!

Oh man that's such a mood when it comes to content too ;; I agree that following one account is easier but it's nice that Sheezy and Tumblr offers you to host multiples.

Anthro and Sonic may seem similar but I totally get splitting especially for your ocs which I'm aware they're their own thing-

I think the bigger intention is that I just like to see things animate in general. It may be more likely that this is what I'll do under my digital illustration style with motion graphics or frame-by-frame drawing instead.

I'll still do pixel art but yeah... It's been niche even for me.

I can see why artists would stick to one. It's really tough for me to make the call.

If I have to, I'd rather make pixel art as my secondary compared to illustrations, as what you have seen me post as of late. Also, places like here and IG aren't so friendly to posting pixels, per se.

I'd like to ask if any of you also have a similar struggle in terms of dealing with different specialties at the same time and whether you created a separate account for it. But I'm unsure as to whether I'll maintain that in the long run, so my other option was to... forgo one of them altogether.

So... I've this tension that's been bugging me for a while.

I've been doing both pixel art and regular illustrations for a long time, but lately, I'm beginning to consider those as separate since the styles are SO different. Because of that, it can sometimes be hard to tell what I'm known for.

...as well as how I will be presenting them onwards. I guess part of it is because I want to open up to more clients while deciding to hone my art into a singularly defined category. Gonna write those thoughts in a separate thread.

Due to incoming graduation, these next two months are going to be hectic so I decided to close them all including my Ko-fi offers. I probably won't open them again until June arrives, but will continue working on the ones I still owe.

Even then, I've been wanting to revise my current offers...

Oh those colours are gorgeous and refreshing to look at! It took me a little bit to realize there's actually a serpent underneath the boat and not just water waves, they blend so well together~

I know Discord servers or streams are sometimes another way to go around it! They feel more temporary whereas a social media post is a little more imprinted I think, but they do also come with its own atmosphere depending on the group's vibe. :p

I personally like seeing people post their thoughts imo, you get to see them more as a person and it also invites for some discussion with them even~
