I don't really have any serious issues with tga other than size/compression peculiarities. Uncompressed version works fine, but I had issues with most of the builtin compression types. Conversion would be trivial with imagemagick or something similar. Uncompressed tga in a zip sounds rational to me.
used to use tga, but then discovered the problem with alpha in png is more of a photoshop issue than anything else (it being a smartass and not giving easy controls over it). After I switched to Gimp I don't really have that problem anymore, and png became more convenient. Substance was always okay.

haha, I used to eat lemon slices easily, but can't anymore for some reason. Licorice though? Yeah that's extreme. Though works nicely sometimes. Also, hella cute faces on the both of them :3

FREE ADVICE: so, there's a filmmaking concept called "business." "Business" is, essentially, the stuff your character does while talking. Fixing a car engine, ice skating, eating an ice cream cone, ducking gunfire. You gotta give your characters "business" so they're not just standing there yappin'.
