If you like "the Singularity," I suspect you will dig this. Haven't read them, but the short stories are supposed to be his best stuff.

When I was a kid, Debbie Reynolds lived in the same Virginia city as me. I don’t remember anyone running into her, but you could see her hilltop house from where I took guitar lessons and thumbed through Musician magazine.
