I can't evaluate all the claims here (since I never played any RE game, nor God of War) but I do think Mass Effect 3 ended quite well. I personally liked it.

I always keep it at one live service game. Right now it's Path of Exile. Before that I played Heroes of the Storm and was quite good at it (quit because Blizzard abandoned). Before that I played League of Legends (quit because toxic community)
