Actually 1976/77!

Fortunate as only VAR decided his nose was offside. Next season when we are in the Championship it would almost certainly be a goal. I'll give you that briefly after we scored we were better but it was brief. The penalty and sending off was for denying a goal scoring opportunity!

Not sure I was watching the same game. We were disjointed and not in control. We were fortunate not to go one nil down. I have problems getting home with 8 pm kick offs so I switched off the tele at 3-1 rather than leaving (something I've done once in 59 years). Gradual decline since Nov 23.

I'm 67 and it very definitely isn't in my years of watching. The team that went down just before you were born was far worse and kids would have been playing if that team had 10 injuries.

Most in the City don't even wear ties anymore! End of days.

Straight out of the Trump playbook. Asked a difficult question by a woman just changes the subject and insults her and her publication.

Same level of players? Do you mean the fit ones or the injured ones. Not a fan of Frank but the problems are deep seated. The next manager will struggle too.

You do go on but I couldn't agree more re Romero, edge of box at corners indeed I said the same when watching on the box. Do I go on Tuesday and return to Wiltshire in the early hours? So frustrating.

Not sure he is the best but he is the worst. He wants out so that's fine with me.

07.02.2026 16:31 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Spot on in my opinion.

07.02.2026 13:43 ๐Ÿ‘ 2 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

And a supposed journalist blocks me for disagreeing with him. More pathetic than even Romero.

07.02.2026 13:41 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I said that failed but it wouldnt be any different if he hadn't. 6 Red Cards. Absolute liability and it's him that has proven it regardless of the manager. By all means say Frank should go if you must but to blame him for Romero is a desperate attempt to justify your view.

07.02.2026 13:35 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Not identical at all. Romero is a liability. Get rid, drop him and sell him in the summer.

07.02.2026 13:30 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

So you blame Frank for Romero being an idiot. 6th red! Frank tried to do something to tame Romero and yes he failed but it's Romero that needs to go.

07.02.2026 13:28 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

And the law says if you endanger a player and/or use excessive force it's a red card. It's not the 1980's or earlier when he would have got away with being a skillfull Vinny Jones.

07.02.2026 13:25 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

He doesn't. He gets booked and sent off because he doesn't learn and now disruptive. Sell him. If he is worried about the squad playing with 10 should be his concern. Biggest mistake was not doing so in window.

07.02.2026 13:20 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Not me. We often play better without him but not when we go down to 10. Hasnt learnt since sending off against Chelsea in 2023.

07.02.2026 13:15 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

And know we go a goal down through not marking edge of box. And people insist it's Frank. Drop Romero.

07.02.2026 13:11 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Learn.

07.02.2026 13:06 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Just said the same thing. He just doesn't learn. Same thing each time.

07.02.2026 13:06 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

City have already benefited from a previous change and could play one new signing. How about they learn what the rule is in advance and accept it. Pep arrogantly thinks he can always buy his way to success.

05.02.2026 08:50 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Rodri fumes at referees but overlooks he could easily have got a second yellow yesterday and his manager knew it - subbed him. Great player but off pace and no doubt frustrated since his return.

I don't want to know about the futile demonstrations against the latest hate figures. They achieve nothing and create a toxic atmosphere which must transfer to the players. Only learnt about yesterdays planned walkout when I heard someone mention 75 mins at halftime.

The less shouty fans (and older fans) often agree in my experience.

He tells Bis and Dragusin to make mistakes! It didn't work at all first half. Having run out of centre backs he had to change and funny enough that's what a good manager does. The jury should be out on Frank as he inherited a poor team and then lost key players.

01.02.2026 20:44 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Did I miss that my old MP Gino Francois had defected too? He better hurry up as the racists of Rayleigh and Wickford will definitely vote Reform.

Strongly suspect that the madness was why they signed up and they are emboldened by the suggestion that they have immunity.

She will think she's different because she is of Hindu and catholic heritage and doesn't have a Muslim name. It's her racism that they will like though.

Not that it's relevant but I've been going for 59 years since I was 8. I don't believe you can see how things may develop very easily. Could you see the Burkinshaw team that was relegated in 77 would win the FA Cup in 81 and 2? We only need to look a few miles to see a gradual build.

21.01.2026 20:32 ๐Ÿ‘ 0 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I'm a season ticket holder but assume you are young and don't remember far worse. I saw them from mid sixties and then we struggled in the 70's and eventually were relegated. We nearly went bust before Sugar of all people rescued us. A rebuild is needed. Constant sackings isn't the answer.
