oh this was a reply about the shading/painting brushes I was using. For that idk I just like something where you can kinda of tell there were brush strokes and where the colors can blend nicely

it's a bit complicated, but for a main brush I want something that's SLIGHTLY rough/textured that can cleanly taper from small to thick, while also kind of fading slightly when used at low pressures. I call it a pencil/pen but I guess it's more akin to like, a marker or ink brush than anything else

duality of having fun with art right now, feelin decent about it, etc. but also I'm just having multiple panic attacks a day because *gestures at the state of things* :)

feel like this is kind of how all the team ninja games go tho lol, gonna be nuts by the time they're done working on it

and I think for the main campaign what is there is good, but when you start thinking about how ng+ remixes placements not having namahage, rokurokubi, onyudo, tesso, etc. hurts the unpredictability a bit, as well as the limited roster of big boys for mid-bosses

very excited for whatever the hell they do with Nioh 3's dlcs because the base game is worth it on its own but I find the ng+ stuff a little underwhelming. I hope by the end they just bring back literally every enemy type that was in 1+2, there's a lot missing which feels a little weird

the thickness setting was probably the most important one, you can immediately tell the difference with my handwriting between that Lyssa pic and the Xiufei one

the adjustments I actually made to my main sketching brush were fairly minor after I experimented with a few others, just messing with the thickness of the brush tip, adding a bit of texture, etc. but I'm kinda feelin it now lol
