How it turned out @ APCAM AND Psychonomics. My trainees did a great job presenting about misophonia and music, Dylan and Isabella pictured. Rose and David did great too! My own poster had the wrong degrees of freedom so clearly Iβm not setting the best example π
Sorry to miss it! I'll be at the in person Psychonomics conference.
That's ridiculous! Do you mind sharing which journal so I can avoid it?

I totally agree. I'm thankful to not be in a dept that doesn't follow fads. We would love to have a good computational modeling person, but it's been hard to find such a person we wanted to hire.
Application deadline November 28th, 2025. Open to PhD Students and post-doctoral fellows. Apply here: redcap.link/HPPIJE26
The editorial leadership team for the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance seeks nominations for intern junior editorial positions for early-career psychologists (IJEs).
Psych departments posting a faculty job, period, is pretty remarkable these days. I had a student graduate earlier this year who has been unable to find any relevant job so far, in academia, government, or industry.
I had a really good pumpkin curry at a Thai restaurant. Not to mention the name of the dish would be humorously repetitive.

Congratulations, Megan!!
Could contact my colleague Rochelle Hines here at UNLV
I edit for @jephpp.bsky.social and I'm usually able to get 3 reviewers per paper, but it can be challenging for sure.
