The course can be reversed.
Flinging your hands up in the air as if the worst is an inevitability will only make that much more inevitable.
Be safe, but be loud. Don't allow the bad guys to silence your screams.

Anyone that watched the video of Renee Gold's murder should be aware of what's happening.
Future generations will study this time and wonder how it could happen.
Be someone they can be proud of.
The UK frustrates me to no end, but watching America makes me glad for where I am.
This is scary.
Dear American Republicans and secretly Republican "centrists,"
In the UK, when we studied WWII, we learned all about the shit before the war too and right now, that is looking very you.
It scared me as a child to hear about regular folks indifference to other peoples suffering.
This ain't it.
Yes and no. I think Swank is an all-timer this year.
No. But it's a close one (see what I did there?). This is an all time great year.
Thank goodness. Is that a normal price in the US? No judgement, just curious (well, maybe a little judgement).
$50?! I would have a heart attack.
I think they're both fantastic. Whenever someone suggests another actor for Meryl's part, I scratch my head. I've seen so many actors in that role from YouTube and Meryl is the best to have done it. That *is* the character.
STUNNING
Natalie Portman MVP.
That smile!!! Urgh. Almost turned me straight.
Yes, I would have voted for Glenn here. ππ»
(I still love the other performances though and am glad Cher had this moment for a great performance).
Will Julia be taking over Diane Keaton with the one nomination every decade record? Diane got 4 (70s, 80s, 90s, 00s). Could Julia do 5 (80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s)?

Pam Grier in Jackie Brown over Julia Roberts in MBFW though (as much as I love her).
Everyone should be jailed for their crimes in Afterglow.
Yes and no.
Yes and no.
I think this is such a necessary watch for anyone that analyses, discusses or reacts to media*******

Piper Laurie. The doc 'Acting Carrie' showed that she made that character something that wasn't quite what was on the page. Wonderful and intelligent work. ππ»ππ»ππ»
Why are they still waiting at the door? Get the breakfast ready.
MRS MOORE!!! MRS MOORE!!!
Hard disagree. This WAS the best performance.
I find it hard to understand all the pushback when consistent Cate is great in another drama, while Michelle showcases her prowess at comedy, drama and action in a rare outing.
The politics rubbish is offensive. This performance merited the win.
Cher all day every day
Leslie Ann Warren. ππ»ππ»ππ» What a riot!
The deserved winner. This isn't Best Picture. I scratch my head at all the discourse because none of the nominees are giving all-time greatest work.
Meryl has Maggie down to a T. The scenes of older Maggie in particular are rather special.
Boo Maggie Thatcher. Yay Meryl Streep.
Ahem
100 days? Is that all? Feels much longer. π¬
The Academy's new rules about having to actually watch all the nominees before voting for the winners? Here for it.
I always hate the "better than nothing" attitude. Still not good enough.
If a human being thinks another human being should have less rights than them (when they haven't committed heinous crimes) then that human being can get fucked.
Oh. I wonder how that happened. On my very thorough Wiki search, it said it was released in November 49. I guess not in LA?
