It's important to make shit for yourself right now. Make drawings and share stories with your community without the fear of it being perfect or the expectation that it'll do numbers. The less opportunities we all get means we have no one else to do it for but ourselves. Just make something.

If you'd like to play games with romance that DO have either a character creator available, the MC appears in CGs but with a neutral appearance (no hair or skin color, etc) and/or you can modify their personality and/or background, here are some recommendations for games I really enjoyed:

I'm really sorry to those that are disappointed by this and no longer wish to play the game because of it. I completely understand and respect that choice, I just ask that you also respect my choice of not wanting (nor being financially able) to add a character creator or personality creator/choices

I know this is a deal breaker for some players, but it's just something I don't enjoy doing in my stories. That's why, a while back, I mentioned Killer Trait would be the last game I made with the ability to choose to play as an invisible MC.

Why am I doing it this way? Because, frankly speaking, I don't enjoy writing stories with self-insert and/or blank slate characters.

If you play as an invisible MC, you will be able to choose your name and pronouns but the invisible MC won't appear as a side image nor in the CGs. Their personality and background will also be the same as Fawna's, since they are not meant to be interpreted as a self-insert/blank-slate character.

Killer Trait is a game that has the option to play either as an invisible MC or as Fawna, who is meant to be the canon protagonist.

If you play as Fawna, her side image will appear in the game and she will also appear in CGs. She cannot be renamed and her pronouns cannot be changed.
