In the second arrows of the Queen book, the riders have their own private parties after any big celebration (holidays, coronations, etc…). The parties seemed so fun and it was great to see a softer side of the characters
I always wanted to be a page in tortall after reading protector of the small by Tamora Pierce - does that count as a school?
I definitely think it would be alchemy for me! I like working in a lab, so that seems like a very good fit!
A lot of the books I read (the Valdemar world stands out) had these little hand pies (sweet and savoury) that heralds would take when travelling. I’ve always wanted to try to make hand pies myself!
My favourite dragon is Kitten from the immortals series by Tamora Pierce!
