Thank you Eric! Some downloads are definitely coming in, I'm curious where it'll end up landing.

Happy New Year, everybody! π
Here is my review of 2025. Definitely a turbulent year, there are many concrete lessons that I am taking for next year.

I'm excited to finally have this out there! Especially the automatic exporting to calendar - it's a new way of viewing your tracked time and comparing it to your plans.
Two people are sitting at a table in a cafe, interacting with their devices using Working Copy. One person holds a iPhone, while the other uses a tablet. The setting features soft lighting and plants in the background.
Working Copy launched 11 years ago.
Iβm celebrating the first 27 thousand commits by discounting the Pro Unlock which can be yours for $30 instead of the regular $36.

Wow, congratulations! Thatβs huge! π
Excited to have this released!
I find it oddly interesting that the only way to prevent iOS 26 from applying liquid glass treatment to the shapes within your app icon is to create it in Icon Composer and disable the glass effect there.
Are you using SwiftUI? This might only affect UIKit apps.
Here's the workaround: gist.github.com/LukasCZ/9b8f... (And yes - Apple might still fix it, but this has been broken since beta 1, so it's good to be prepared just in case.)
A screenshot of iOS 18 simulator, showing broken large navigation title layout.
π¨ PSA for all of you updating your apps for iOS 26:
When you build using Xcode 26, the large navigation title gets broken (no left padding) when running on iOS 18.
π Link to a fix below.
Honestly all this Liquid Glass stuff and related problems seems like the worst thing that happened to the platform in many years. And the pain is self-inflicted by Apple :(.
Hi Tanner, I really liked the session! Can you please take a look at this forum post? I'd love to hear your thoughts. developer.apple.com/forums/threa...
I filed a feedback for it: FB19228904. If you are seeing the same issue, please make sure to file a feedback as well, to increase the chances that Apple will fix it.
π¨ PSA: If you are using a UISegmentedControl in UIKit in your app, chances are it is broken on iOS 26.
βThis next tool [Timelines] has helped me go from completely wasting entire days to having total control over my time and attention.
Itβs helped me eliminate procrastination and make sure that Iβm actually progressing towards the things I care about.β

No worries, I totally understand. I saw a couple of your previous posts. Seems bad :/.
Whatβs happening? Iβve mostly missed the drama except for hearing a bit about it on Core Int a while back.
Finally taking some time today to do a much-needed update of the Press Kit on my website. Feels good!

Busy evening ahead π #WWDC25
The Swift group lab was also amazing! I agree this format is much better. It feels more personal and also more interactive - being able to ask and upvote questions during the call.
This year, all WWDC sessions are dropping at once π€―
Iβm ready! π #WWDC25
Working Copy was made possible at the Apple World Wide Developer Conference 11 years ago.
