The recipient will be presented with a plaque as well as a $1,500 monetary award which is funded equally by the Alumni Association and the Faculty Union.

The employer and SMU CUPE 3912 Part-Time Faculty return to the Bargaining Table today.

We trust that the SMU Senior Admin and BOG will offer a fair deal so SMU students can get back into the classrooms next week and PT Faculty can be appropriately respected.

CUPE 3912 is still waiting to meet with the employer to negotiate a new and fair contract. The employer could swiftly put an end to this by meeting immediately with the PT faculty.

Tell SMU admin what you think about the fact that PT Profs at SMU earn less than minimum wage and have been forced to the picket line, impacting students' degrees!
