Finally- the Supreme Court actually followed the law. Justice Roberts will be remembered as a Justice who put his ideology above the law and was a catalyst for one of the darkest periods in our democracy.
Economic security should not be shaped so heavily by marital status, rather by wages, job quality, the ability to join a union, etc. Without policies that address pay disparities, 1/2 of U.S. women are being shortchanged, & this country is being shortchanged too.

i think jesse jackson was one of the most important american political figures of the post-war era and i think that his 1984 and 1988 campaigns for the democratic nomination still have a great deal to teach about forging a path to a more egalitarian world. RIP.
Reverend Jackson will be remembered for his long life of achievement and courage in forging new pathways to justice.
