Eine winterliche, minimalistische Küstenlandschaft unter einem grauen, verhangenen Himmel. Im Vordergrund liegt eine dünne Schneedecke auf dem Boden, in der Mitte steht eine einsame Holzbank. ​Hinter der Bank zieht sich eine Reihe aus sechs rustikalen Holzpfählen horizontal durch das Bild. Im Hintergrund ist das Watt oder eine flache Wasserfläche zu sehen, die teilweise mit Eis und Schnee bedeckt ist. Die Farbstimmung ist kühl und ruhig in Weiß-, Grau- und Beigetönen gehalten.
