I don't think it matters much whether Musk intended the gesture to be a Nazi salute or not (I think he did). Someone in his position should and would know better, and the appearance of impropriety from someone that high up the chain is BAD ENOUGH. He deserves to be called out.

I think about this so much. His presidency was what radicalized me, and many of my peers.
Certainly they've always tried and sometimes were successful, but this ruling truly greenlit the practice and opened the floodgates. It has done immeasurable damage to our democracy and our society.

Even if you don't know it, you get it! It's what allows corps to do that. You've made me realize that we need to go harder on that issue. It flew under the radar for too many people, and many younger people don't know anything different. It was and is truly despicable.
Trump's Cabinet appointments are shocking, but part of a plan. We should be wary of shock, which excuses inaction. We have to get through the surprise and the shock to see the design and the risk.

This should terrify every American. It doesn’t matter where you stand on immigration. Using our military as a domestic law enforcement tool at mass scale will destroy its core purpose, turn the American people against them, and damage the institution for decades.
