Age verification / online ID check legislation literally forces companies to collect MORE data on children (and everyone else) not less.
We desperately need privacy, antitrust, and algorithmic justice legislation.
Not censorship bills like KOSA and expanded surveillance.
Make it stick and get these banned at your favorite local business and other public access spaces using some of our tools.

Blackburn is one of the reps who introduced the Kids Online Safety Act and is leading the charge to "protect" children by censoring anything the government deems "harmful" to them online. While talking about KOSA, she also said children need to be protected "from the transgender in this culture"

I think it's okay to believe keeping teens off the Internet is so important it's worth subjecting everyone to "papers please" ID checks everywhere they go online.
I just think people who believe that should have to acknowledge they are okay with activists & journalists being tortured and murdered 🤷♀️
