Letβs teach neuroscientists how to be thoughtful and fair reviewers
Blanco-SuΓ‘rez revamped the traditional journal club by developing a course in which students peer review preprints alongside the published papers that evolved from them.
In the first essay of our new neuro-education series, @eblancosuarez.bsky.social shares how she reimagined the traditional journal club course by developing a class in which students review preprints alongside the published papers that evolved from them.

It is so nice when you get reviewers' comments back and the suggestions are so spot on and fantastic that I'm actually excited to add to the manuscript what they're asking for.
Thank you, whoever you are!

This is an excellent analogy, because my recollection from grade school is that the pen on the right looks fun and exciting, and then you play with it for a few minutes and realize it's not actually useful for anything and in fact makes some tasks more cumbersome, and never think about it again.

Does anyone have 3D printer files for objects for the novel object recognition test for mice, and are willing to share?
Also, happy holidays

I do remember that as a child I found the film very unsettling because I thought it was unfair and hard on the little mouse. I don't remember the plot, only how it made me feel.
