Also, I see the same pattern in the music instruments world. Especially guitars and synths. Yeah, there are some instruments that are expensive to begin with, from the factory, but that doesn't mean MOST of them should be.

I hate it. Despise it in fact. I get why it's there, i do. I get why the industry feels like it needs them. But i would much rather have a comic in everyone's hand that wants to read the story than a bunch of them in the hands of someone that wants exorbitant amounts because it's "hot".

Idk who needs to hear this- but if you are opening your colored comics pages from your colorist in the default windows app- you are getting the wrong colors.

Same image in rgb. Opens fine in Google Chrome and ms paint. Desaturated in windows photo, which is the default app.

Calling AI "slop" has been one of the most effective instances of the public rebranding a product and it pisses them off.
